‘We are still Asafo’, written and directed by Liz Mytton, creative director at TIF, is a theatre show performing at Loading Bay, a temporary black box theatre, as part of Bradford 2025. This new show draws inspiration from the experiences of the African diaspora across West Africa, the Caribbean, and the UK. Utilising Ghanaian flag-making traditions and rituals, the performance honours the journeys of our communities and our shared ancestral connections, exploring how these links can offer guidance in our present times.
